The Showcase is our year-end show held at the Bert Church Theatre in Airdrie.  All students in our full year classes will have a chance to perform for friends and family in a theatre setting with professional costuming and lighting.


Where does the Showcase take place?
The showcase takes place at the Bert Church Theatre in Airdrie.  A spacious 400 seat theatre with free parking.  Please see the calendar on our homepage for specific dates and times.

Is the showcase mandatory for all students?
Although the showcase is not mandatory, we do encourage ALL students to participate.  Showcase gives your child a chance to perform and show their achievements.  All showcase choreography is taught during regular class time.
Are there any extra costs associated with Showcase?
Extra costs include costumes and tickets for the show for all audience members.  Senior and children tickets are discounted.
Do I need to sew?
Costumes are provided by Dance Explosions.  Many costumes are ordered from costume catalogs or sewn by a studio hired seamstress.  Parents ARE NOT required to sew their child’s costume!
What is the cost of costumes?
Junior costumes range from $50.00-$90.00.  Senior costumes range from $75.00-$105.00.
How are costumes paid for?
A costume deposit will be required for each class your child is enrolled in. Costumes deposits are typically $50-$70 per class and are collected with the first payment and due in mid-November. Costumes balances are given out mid-April and all costumes must be paid in full before being distributed.
What can my child get out of participating in the show?
The Year-End showcase is a wonderful chance for your child to perform in front of family and friends.  It is the highlight of the year and a culmination of many hours of hard work and practice.
